Eden Area Indivisible (EAI), is deeply committed to justice, inclusion, compassion, truth, and democracy, and operates within the broader context of Indivisible National. Established early in 2025, we work to expand and protect democracy by influencing representatives, advocating for progressive policies promoting economic, racial, gender, and environmental justice, and building alliances.
We cover part of the East Bay Are of California’s 14th U.S. Congressional district. Historically referred as the Eden Area, our group includes Hayward, Castro Valley, San Leandro, San Lorenzo and adjacent unincorporated areas (Ashland, Cherryland, Fairview etc.).
At Eden Area Indivisible, we actively work to influence our Members of Congress and other elected representatives at all levels of government. We do this in multiple ways, including holding meetings with our MoCs and their staffs and attending their sponsored events, such as town halls. We also organize mass calling campaigns, making calls to our elected officials and participating in phone banking to voters in other states.
Furthermore, we utilize media attention to amplify our message and advocacy efforts. Applying the effective Indivisible model, we extend our activism to influence California state and local politics, working to advance progressive policies and support democratic values within our community and beyond.
